Katie Holmes is posing for the Miu Miu spring/summer 2009

Here’s a peek at the much anticipated Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2009 ad campaign featuring Katie Holmes. Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Miuccia Prada’s office says the campaign is “an atmospheric nod to a certain Fellini-esque chaotic excess, updated with the contemporary Miu Miu spirit”. Katie follows in the footsteps of several other Hollywood stars including Kirsten Dunst, Kim Basinger, Lindsay Lohan and Vanessa Paradis who have all posed as the Miu Miu woman in previous seasons.

Miu Miu is positioned as the daily-oriented, more affordable clothing line from the Prada fashion house, opened in 1992 and headed by Miuccia Prada. The name of the collection is taken from Miuccia Prada's nickname.
The line is known for its clean and stylish designs, use of fine materials, and affordable prices (compared with Prada)
